 Donna Lammert
Donna Lammert, a 1969 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Business, pursued her passion at a time when few women entered the field. Her experience navigating a male-dominated industry strengthened her confidence and perseverance, shaping a successful 35-year career with the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Omaha, where she retired as a Senior Project Manager. Among her many accomplishments, Donna played a
pioneering role in establishing early computer learning centers in public housing communities across Nebraska during the 1980s.

Beyond her professional achievements, Donna remains deeply committed to supporting future generations. In 2016, she and her husband established the Terry and Donna Lammert Endowed
Scholarship in Business, supporting engaged, first-generation students. Donna encourages today’s students to pursue their passions, embrace new opportunities, and believe in themselves. Her legacy continues to inspire and uplift the UNI community.
