Peter Goulet is the inaugural recipient of the EmpowerHER Award, recognizing his outstanding support and advocacy for women in business. A lifelong educator and mentor, Peter’s career began in the classroom, where he discovered the power of helping students find confidence and clarity. His dedication to lifelong learning, his students’ success, and his commitment to equity have made a lasting impact at UNI and beyond. Inspired by the strong women in his life, including his mother, his wife Lynda, and his daughter, Peter has championed opportunities for women with unwavering purpose. Even in retirement, he continues to serve others through consulting and academic work. His legacy is one of integrity, mentorship, and a deep belief in empowering others to reach their full potential. |
